Hanging on the top of the mountain overlooking the Haut Verdon valley, the Argens village holds a historic tradition of fine lavender wild gathering and later on, plantation.
A little bit elapsed, the lavender growth finds a new start thanks to Véronique Blanc, farmer & fervent lover of perfume, aromatic and medicinal plants.
Walking across Véronique's cultivated blue fields bordered by beautiful scenery under an open sky, you'll discover the life of yesterday's and today's people in a valley with a peculiar mountain climate. Surrounded by the colours and perfumes of her cultivated plants, you'll discover the growth, make-over techniques, and aromatic virtues of her plants: lavender, thyme, mountain savoury, hyssop and even genippi.
A little sensorial game, refreshments and Provencal snacks will be offered as you get back to the village.
